Practice with Video

Import video to slow it down, loop it, or scrub along with the picture. Examine finger positions, bowing, pick movements, mouth shapes, and other details.

Zoom and Move the Picture

• Touchscreen: pinch with two fingers to zoom; once enlarged, drag with one finger to pan.
• Mouse / trackpad: use Ctrl + wheel or a trackpad pinch to zoom around the pointer; drag the enlarged picture to pan.
• Double-click or double-tap: restore the full picture.

Zoom affects only the current view and does not rewrite the video file.

Phone Video Button

Tap the button at the picture's lower right to hide/show video; hold it for the Mirror and Rotate menu. Audio remains audible when video is hidden.

Mirroring helps compare left/right directions. Rotation turns the picture 90 degrees each time to correct its viewing orientation temporarily. Display rotation is not written to the file or treated as a permanent project edit.

Tablets and Browsers

Video corner buttons directly provide Hide, Mirror, Rotate, and Arrangement. In browsers, hover over the picture or focus with Tab to show them.

Video can sit above, left, or right of the waveform. Drag dividers to resize it, and save common arrangements as layouts.

Video and Audio Sync

During normal slow playback, video follows playback speed. It also follows the position while scrubbing forward/backward. Fast dragging may not show every position frame by frame; slow your gestures or playback speed to inspect movement details.

Locking the screen or entering the background may pause video decoding. If it has not updated on return, try pausing and playing again or seeking.

Edit or Record Video

To write trimming or rotation into the result, use video editing in the app. If you only need sound, remove the video.

The app can also record your own video as a separate project to compare with a demonstration. Browsers do not have these native recording and editing controls.
