Record Audio

On phones, choose Record Audio from the menu; on tablets, use the Import menu. Recording is available in the app; browsers have no audio recording control.

Recording Steps

1. Opening the panel starts microphone input and pauses existing playback. The central waveform shows input, but recording has not started yet.
2. Play or say something to check that the waveform responds, then press the red button to start.
3. Press Stop when finished, then play it back. Confirm import when satisfied.
4. The recording becomes the current workspace. Slow it down, scrub, and select loops directly, then save it as a project.

Confirming import replaces the current workspace. Save any content you want to keep first.

Recording Suggestions

Record a teacher's demonstration to listen slowly phrase by phrase at home, or record your own playing and open it separately from a reference project for comparison.

If input is quiet, adjust the device's distance from the sound source. If microphone permission is missing, follow the interface link to enable it in system settings, then return and retry.

Recording and workspace playback do not currently run simultaneously. To record your playing over accompaniment, record with another device and import it afterward.
