Record Video
On phones, choose Record Video from the menu; on tablets, use the Import menu. Recording is available in the app; browsers have no video recording control.
Shoot and Import
- Choose the front or rear camera and position the device.
- Tap the picture to set focus and metering. Black bars outside the picture do not respond to focus taps.
- Pinch with two fingers or use magnification buttons to zoom; hold a magnification button for fine adjustment. Available capabilities depend on the device and lens.
- Start recording; existing audio playback pauses.
- Stop and preview. Record again if dissatisfied.
- After confirmation, the video is processed and becomes the current workspace. Save it as a project.
Long recordings may take time to process; keep the app in the foreground. Save any content you want to retain from the original workspace first.
Compare for Practice
Save the demonstration and your recording as separate projects. Slow them to similar speeds to compare finger positions, movements, and note durations. If directions are difficult to compare, use Video Mirror.
If camera or microphone permissions are off, grant them following the system prompt. If audio is in use, end other recordings or calls before trying again.
