Pads

Pads assign saved clips to buttons, making it easy to recall several phrases or compare sections quickly.

On phones, swipe right from the disc. On tablets and in browsers, select the Pads tab. Save clips first, then edit pads to assign them.

Playback Behavior

Press a loaded pad to make the main player jump to and play its clip:

• Hold: repeat the clip.
• Release: restore the prior play/pause, loop, and Follow Playhead states. If previously playing, continue from the current position.
• Quick tap: briefly trigger the clip.

When several pads are held, the most recently pressed takes over. Releasing it can return to a previously pressed pad that is still held.

Ways to Use Pads

Assign phrases from a solo to different pads and alternate between them. You can also put two similar phrases next to each other to compare rhythm and note changes.

Pads use the main player's speed and audio settings. For continuous practice without holding a pad, a normal A/B loop is more convenient.

No Sound or the Wrong Speed

Check that the pad is still bound to a valid clip and is not in editing mode. Deleted clips need new assignments; for incorrect speed, check playback speed and Auto-Speed settings.
