Metronome and Count-in

Detect beats first. Both the metronome and Count-in use the detected beats; their clicks follow the current playback speed after speed changes.

Metronome

Enable it in the beat menu for a click on each beat. Use it to check beat alignment or as a rhythmic reference while practicing. If clicks do not match the music, check the detected lines first, then try reanalyzing the selection.

In the app, the metronome can keep playing with background audio. Browser background and lock screen playback depends on the browser and system. See Lock Screen and Background Playback.

Count-in

Count-in counts down before playback starts to help you prepare. Settings lets you adjust the time signature, count-in length, and whether earlier audio plays during the count-in.

When enabled:

• The bottom Play button counts in before playback.
• The disc center starts directly, skipping the count-in.

With “Pre-roll Audio” enabled, the count-in includes music before the target position to help you enter with the phrase.

Loop Interval can also use a beat count-in, giving preparation time before every repetition.
